Our Charities

We all run for many varying reasons: personal, community, health and collective reasons that drive us to go faster, run farther, and push harder. Among the many good reasons to race, Seven Bridges Marathon is proud to work with some incredible charities operating in the greater Chattanooga area.

When you register for your choice of the Seven Bridges 2016 races, you’ll have the opportunity to give an additional donation to one of these charity partners.

The Christian Bryant Foundation
Established in May 2012, The Christian Bryant Foundation aims to continue the legacy of Christian Bryant’s joyful spirit and quiet strength displayed through her passion for helping others. The Foundation aims to improve and expand the medical care and resources currently available to children within the greater Chattanooga and Northwest Georgia communities.

Frontline Builders
Since 2000, Frontline Builders have brought the Gospel to a war-torn southern Sudan through church planting, permanent church building construction, evangelism, agriculture and lifestyle training. Over the years, the ministry has expanded into East Africa, Chad, and Mongolia.

The ministry works in cooperation with Seventh-day Adventist Church leadership and supporting ministries, to provide men and women around the world with the tools and training required to begin new congregations, schools, and training programs. In every endeavor, Frontline Builders seeks to offer others the opportunity to learn about their Savior.

Habitat for Humanity of Chattanooga
A household name in service to others, Habitat for Humanity empowers Chattanooga residents to work together to create communities through the side-by-side work of building eco-friendly homes for families in need of secure shelter. The Chattanooga chapter welcomes all those who want to pick up a hammer and help, shop at the ReStore, or learn about owning their own home.

Susan G. Komen
A part of another household name, the Komen chapter of Chattanooga works tirelessly with the national non-profit to fund breast cancer research and offer practical assistance to those currently facing the disease. Since its founding in 1982, Komen has provided close to $1 billion in research, screening, education, treatment, and psychosocial support programs, serving millions of people around the world.
